The Support Gap
Around 10% of new fathers worldwide experience postnatal depression, yet support services remain heavily focused on mothers, leaving many fathers without tailored emotional or parenting support.
Join a movement of fathers choosing to be intentional, present, and proud of who they're becoming. Your family deserves that version of you.
Modern Muslim fathers are navigating a profound transition: balancing the traditional role of provider with a growing desire to be emotionally present, nurturing, and deeply involved in their children’s lives. In a rapidly changing world shaped by secular influences, social media, shifting gender roles, and differing family expectations, they carry the challenge of raising confident, faith-rooted children without isolation or rigidity. This is not a crisis of fatherhood, but an evolution of it—one that calls for patience, wisdom, adaptability, and a renewed understanding of strength through both faith and compassion.
Around 10% of new fathers worldwide experience postnatal depression, yet support services remain heavily focused on mothers, leaving many fathers without tailored emotional or parenting support.
A UK study found that 38% of first-time fathers were concerned about their mental health, highlighting the need for accessible counselling, peer groups, and culturally sensitive parenting support for fathers.
Research using the UK’s ALSPAC birth cohort found that children whose fathers showed strong emotional engagement had 14% lower odds of behavioural problems at age 9 and similar reductions at age 11.
